Moody-Leon United Methodist Church
 The Moody-Leon United Methodist Church is located about 6 miles southwest of Moody, Texas near the east bank of the Leon River. It was born in the hearts of two brothers who came to live in this community in the year 1871. Moody-Leon is a family-oriented church, known for its warmth and friendliness toward everyone in the community. The congregation faithfully serves missionaries around the world, and it is actively involved in hands-on service, as well. This church family loves to study, worship and play together! They love to have fun and enjoy picnics, ice cream socials, and many other events throughout the year. A time honored tradition in the church is the sharing of paper sacks at Christmas. Youth ages 5th-12th grade meet on Sunday evenings for games, lessons, and fun activities. An adult Bible study group meets each Sunday, as well. There is something for everyone in this church family! There is a place for everyone at Moody-Leon. Join us for traditional worship in a casual setting. Our choir helps to lead the worship in engaging music that is tied to the lesson for the day. If you enjoy singing and would like to join in the music, you are always welcome in our choir! Children are encouraged to worship with their families. Moody-Leon is truly a family-centered congregation! |
